We take pride in providing the highest level of personalized women’s healthcare to patients of all ages.

Miller School of Medicine, and also holds a degree in Neuroscience. Dr. Salazar migrated to the U.S from Cali, Colombia in 2003 and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Dr. Alejandra Salazar is committed to the safe and healthy delivery of both normal and complicated pregnancies. She accepts patients with high risk obstetrical conditions and performs primary deliveries as well as repeat c-sections as well as VBACs (vaginal births after c-section).
In 2019, she was Baptist Health’s nominee for Physician of the Year, and her patients had the lowest primary cesarean section rate in South Miami Hospital.
“The long hours, the sacrifice and the exhaustion are all worth it when I get to be there for my patients during the happiest moment of their lives. It is a privilege that they choose me and trust me to deliver their babies, and I take that responsibility very seriously. I love bonding with my young girls, and my women of all ages. I love listening to all the women who say they have been to multiple doctors and have not been paid attention to. I am grateful every day that I can make a small, positive change in some women’s life, and that is enough to make me love what I do.”
